INTRODUCTION
I joined Re:Tech as a UX/UI designer at an exciting yet challenging time - the company was young, and multiple projects demanded immediate attention. This case study highlights my contributions across various interfaces, ensuring a cohesive experience from back-of-house management to in-person customer interactions.
CHALLANGES
• Building a design system that scales across diverse platforms and user roles.
• Balancing branding and functionality in the logo design.
• Designing intuitive interfaces for managers, cashiers, restaurant owners, and customers.
• Presenting complex data effectively across entire POS System.

Relationship + Technology
Restaurant + Technology
Revolution + Technology
Safe space
The logo should always be surrounded by clear space that contains neither text nor graphics. The clear space on all four sides should be the equivalent to the logo icon created.
DESIGN PROCESS
The UX/UI design process for the Re:Tech POS system commenced with comprehensive user research. This research aimed to identify pain points and understand the needs of restaurant businesses.
Collaborating closely with the Re:Tech design team, we successfully developed a suite of products tailored to the restaurant industry. These products include:
BACK OFFICE WEBSITE
IOS APP FOR MERCHANTS
POINT OF SALE SYSTEM (POS)
COSTUMER FACING SCREEN (CFS)
KITCHEN DISPLAY SYSTEM (KDS)
WHITE-LABEL WEB APP AND KIOSK

• Increased restaurant efficiency through a clear and functional point-of-sale system.
CONCLUSION
My experience at Re:Tech has allowed me to make significant contributions to creating a consistent design language and user experience across the entire POS ecosystem.
